Here at A Dog Called Wander we aim to provide the best service for you and your pets. In response to requests we are now in a position to take in dogs that require special attention and supervised care boarding. This is designed to allow the dogs the freedom of a home environment whilst being supervised throughout the day which is not an option in kennels.


We take on most types of dogs on the basis that they must get along with Honey on a play date and have basic house training. There is no compromise with this. All dogs must be sociable as they will be meeting various dogs throughout the stay and we will not put any of our staff or our clients dogs at risk.

Prices start from just £12.50 per night for regular boarders and the day is tailored to suit the routine of the dog. Any dog coming in must be up to date with boosters/vaccinations and must be insured, preferably chipped as well. All dogs need to have a collar and a legal dog tag with information. Any dog not having insurance will be required to pay an additional £1 per night.

The home environment is an important aspect to dogs and it will help to keep their stress levels down whilst they are away from their own home. We have a room adapted for use just for dogs meaning they are never kept in a kennel (we do not have one) and will always be warm and safe.
